Transportation Engineer
As
a Transportation
Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of Roadway
Transportation projects, as well as the Design staff and clients. You will be preparing PS&Es, preliminary
Engineering reports, Schematic design, Drainage design and TCP for Roadway
projects. You will be preparing environmental
permits for projects, contract time determinations, and Project Quality
Management Plans. You will be developing
client relationships and earn repeat business.
You will be monitoring project process, status and budgets. You will implement policies and procedures on
all projects. You will perform other
duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Bachelors or
Masters in Civil Engineering.
· Must be a
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas.
· TxDOT
precertifications.
· TxDOT Local Government
Policies and Procedures (LGPP) Certified.
· Must have 5+
years experience as a Transportation Engineer in Civil Engineering.
· Must have
experience in developing Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SW3P) and
Water Pollution Abatement Plans (WPAP).
· Experience
working with FHWA and other federal agencies to comply with NEPA).
· Must be
proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GEOPAK, MicroStation V8, InRoads, Primavera or
Suretrak software, Microsoft Project and Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
· Must have
working knowledge with TxDOT Standards and Specification.
