CAD Designer
As
a Transportation
CAD Designer, you will prepare design drawings in MicroStation for
assigned Transportation Projects in accordance with agency standards such as
TxDOT and other department procedures.
You will work with the Project Manager, Project Engineers,
Engineers-in-Training (EIT) and other CAD Designers to prepare Roadway plans,
Bridge plans and Construction details.
As
a Transportation
CAD Designer, you will be responsible for drafting and design
associated with Roadway Plan and Profiles, Intersection layouts, Typical
Sections, Signing and Pavement Marking plans, Cross Sections, and standard details. You will assist the Engineering and Technical
Staff in the design of Transportation Projects utilizing GEOPAK Road, Survey,
and Drainage tools.
Requirements:
· Associates or Bachelors
in Engineering or Technical
· 5+ years of Transportation
Design experience.
· Must have
experience with preparing plans for TxDOT Roadway Projects.
· Must be familiar
with TxDOT Roadway design criteria, TxDOT Drainage design criteria, and MUTCD.
· Proficient in MicroStation
and GEOPAK.
