Inspector
As
a Construction
Inspector, you will be inspection a variety of Transportation projects
from local roads to large DOT type projects.
You will be observing and documenting the contractor’s work to record that
it is being completed in conformance with the plans and specifications,
contract documents, and applicable local, state, and/or federal regulatory
requirements. You will be coordinating
and attending progress meetings with clients, company staff, and other key
stakeholders. You will be evaluating
in-place work elements, materials, design details and project related
conditions to advise clients on the recommended course of action to
successfully complete projects. You will
perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Bachelors in Civil
Engineering. Construction Management preferred.
· Must have 5+
years Construction Inspections experience working with complex Construction
plans.
· Must be
proficient in Microsoft Office.
· Must be
familiar/understand local, State, and/or Federal Standard Specifications and
Procedures.
· Must be familiar
with TxDOT Standards and Specification.
