As
a Roadway
Inspector, you will be responsible for preparing, conducting and
reviewing various types of inspections, such as Roadways, Traffic Signals,
Tunnels, Manholes, Subgrade Placement, ITS Elements, Shaft Sites and New Construction
or Construction Revisions, for compliance with specifications. You will be performing inspections, identifying
problem areas and recommending solutions. You will be performing recordkeeping to maintain
filing system, reports and documentation.
You will be researching and evaluating Plans, Specifications and Drawings. Also providing Daily reports according to
City of Houston standards. You will be
interacting with the general public, Contractors, Technical professional and
Business to respond to inquiries and technical problems.
Requirements:
· Must be a Certified
Inspector for the City of Houston.
· Must have 2+
years experience as an Inspector on City of Houston projects.
