Construction Inspector

As a Construction Inspector, you will be inspection a variety of Transportation projects from local roads to large DOT type projects.  You will be observing and documenting the contractor’s work to record that it is being completed in conformance with the plans and specifications, contract documents, and applicable local, state, and/or federal regulatory requirements.  You will be coordinating and attending progress meetings with clients, company staff, and other key stakeholders.  You will be evaluating in-place work elements, materials, design details and project related conditions to advise clients on the recommended course of action to successfully complete projects.  You will perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

·       Bachelors in Civil Engineering. Construction Management preferred.

·       Must have 5+ years Construction Inspections experience working with complex Construction plans.

·       Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

·       Must be familiar/understand local, State, and/or Federal Standard Specifications and Procedures.

·       Must be familiar with TxDOT Standards and Specification.

Geotechnical Engineer

Geotechnical Engineer

As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the Geotechnical Engineering practice in several branch offices.  You will be supervising and mentoring Geotechnical staff, as well as hiring, developing, and mentoring new staff members.  You will be developing and maintaining new/existing clientele relationships in the region and developing new business as well in the land development area and with the oil and gas industries.  You will be preparing technical reports, specification, construction plans, geotechnical recommendations and proposal writing.

Requirements:

·       Bachelors in Geotechnical Engineering.

·       Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.

·       Must have 12+ years experience of Commercial, Industrial, Retail and/or Hi-Rise Geotechnical experience in Western Pennsylvania.  Past field experience with Geotechnical investigations and construction inspection experience.

·       Must have 5+ years of Geotechnical experience with oil and gas projects.  This should include geological hazard analysis, HDD design, slope stability and mine stabilization.

·       You will be traveling between offices.
