Traffic/Transportation Engineer
Client is looking for experience preparing the planning, design, and permitting documents of traffic/transportation engineering projects, as well as a strong background in conducting traffic impact studies and site circulation studies with a focus on site development projects. As a successful candidate, you must be knowledgeable in the application of traffic engineering and transportation planning principles for conducting impact analyses and site layout design. You must possess an entrepreneurial and professional demeanor, as well as strong technical and communication skills.

Job Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, M.S. degree in Traffic/Transportation a plus;
- FE/EIT certification, P.E. license a plus;
- Possess 4 to 8 years of Traffic Engineering/Transportation Planning experience related to development projects in the Greater Houston Area, including road, intersection, and traffic signal layout; Familiarity with current local, state, and federal land use permitting;
- Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D design skills;
- Effectively manage multiple clients and projects, as well as the willingness to develop future business for the office;
- Strong customer service skills and responsiveness to client needs;
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines;
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment on multiple assignments;
- Ability to occasionally work hours during the evenings and/or weekends;
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing with the ability to travel to project sites and client locations, as required.
